Q. What if the shopping cart doesn't add shipping?
A. Some of our buttons add shipping and some don't. Please know that S&H ($18 for first item and $2 for each additional-subject to change) is required for any item that is not picked up. If you PayPal without adding shipping, you can send it on directly to our address, or wait to be contacted about full payment.

Q. I've found a book I want to order in the shopping cart pages. I can't find a description in the catalog - what can I do?
A. You've run across a programming mistake. Contact us about the title. It could be an inadvertent deleted listing, an out of print book, or a typographical error in either the shopping cart or catalog listing. If the book still exists, and we are still allowed to sell it, we'll help you get it.

Q. What if I want my book(s) faster or less expensive than standard shipping allows?
A. Most books can arrive any carrier, any class of shipping by request, however the buyer will be responsible for the actual shipping and handling fees - inquire.

Q. What if I get the book I ordered and it is not what I was expecting?
A. All sales are final. A suggestion is to donate it to a local library or museum and take a tax deduction. (see next FAQ)

Q. What if I didn't get the book I ordered?
A. Once in a great while, order fulfillment will switch an order. If this happens to you, contact us and arrangements will be made for the return of the book (you did not order) and delivery of the book you ordered.

Q. You published a book I'm looking for, but don't list it for sale. OR
I found a book I'm looking for in your back list, but you don't list it for sale.
Can you help me get in touch with who sells it?
A. If the title is not listed for sale, we are not currently in correspondence with the author/Copyright holder.  However, if you care to write them a letter: Place it in a postage paid envelope with your return address.  Send it to us and we will address the postage paid envelope, using the most current address from our archives, and post it for you.  If the address is current, they will get the letter.  If it is out of date, or we no longer retain this information, you should receive the returned mail.  Due to privacy concerns, we do not give out any contact information. Please note that we don't maintain current contact information and may not retain any contact information over a decade old. (see next FAQ)

Q. I'm looking for a book you don't list, can you help me find it?
A. No, though there are a few "research" things you can do.  First off, double check to see if there isn't a used copy listed in the online catalog.  Next, go to the
Library of Congress, through them you can use their LOCIS system to see if copyright was registered, etc. - this may give you contact information if it is.  Another place to go is Bowker/Books in Print to see if anyone has printed an edition with an ISBN number on it - many libraries offer this service online if you don't wish to subscribe.  If Books in Print has a listing, you should not only find contact info, but also price, etc.  If finding the book to look at is more important then buying it, work with your local library to see if it is available on inter-library loan, or by using WorldCat to see what the closest library is that has one. Also, if you are trying to buy a copy, a suggestion is to search the used book stores on the web - not only do they offer copies, but many also have "Wanted" areas or classifieds you can post your request. In addition, online mega-stores such as Amazon and Barns and Noble offer used book services as well. Never forget your local book store: Some independent book sellers have their own networks and resources.

Q. Why are your electronic books so expensive?
A. As trends come and go, publishers, and authors dependent on the income for their projects, are hesitant to do things that will destroy the market for traditionally published books.  Because of this, any book available directly from Gregath (G order numbers) is also offered in a traditional format.  E-Book prices are selected based on the value of the content, not the cost of electronic materials - thus nearly the cost of traditional, "hard copy" format.

Q. Why can't I install a Gregath published eBook on my hard drive?
A. All e-Books are Copyright protected, as any other book.  While a printed book can't be copy restricted, e-Books can:  A person that purchases a single e-Book is entitled to one copy (or licence) of that material only.  If one were to install it on their hard drive, they would have two complete copies.  Even if an e-Book doesn't physically prohibit making a copy into a computer, realize that making copies is illegal.

Q. Why can't I print pages from my eBook?
A. All e-Books are Copyright protected.  While a printed book can't actually be copy restricted, e-Books can:  A person purchases an e-Book and is entitled to one copy (license) of that material only.  Even if an e-Book doesn't physically prohibit making  copies, realize that the popular idea of getting an e-Book and printing all the pages off and binding your "hard copy" is illegal - the purchaser will have the e-Book purchased and an unauthorized book that has been printed out.

Q. Help! The shopping cart doesn't offer what I want.
A. The original shopping cart was built for in-stock items only - this lets out most AD and AR order numbers. If the links can not be found on the page with the item, visit this page for standard ordering details or email us asking for PayPal billing.
