Q. What if
my planned trip gets snowed (or other bad weather) out?
-
A.
If the trip had an alternate date
scheduled, the trip is just moved. If there was no alternate date
scheduled, everyone will be offered a full refund. If enough people still
want to go on a newly scheduled alternate date, the trip will be moved, with all
wishing refunds still receiving them.

Q.
Are the RHR trips limited to Red Hat and/or Pink Hat members?
-
A.
Not at all! We want to go have
fun, exctiting trips. Though not strictly "fully guided", our staff is
there to make the trip stress free as well. RHR trips do not strictly
adhere to "any thing goes", but we love to have fun.

Q.
What is the size of the group?
-
A.
Some trips are planned for just 1
mini-van, sometimes as few as 4. Some are planned with a bus in mind
(20-40), or by air (generally no more than 40), but they will be noted. If you want to inquire about a specific
trip,
please do.

Q.
By what method will we be traveling?
-
A.
Some of these great trips are so
exciting, we'd love to go if a handful want to participate.
Because of this, some tour options may not list the method of travel.
In these instances, if a small group wants to go, they will travel by
van, if the group is larger, they will travel by bus/coach. If the
trip has been scheduled by air, or without ground transport - it will be noted in the individual
listing. If the travel has been planned with a bus only in mind,
it will be so noted.

Q.
Where are your standard tour pick ups?
-
A. We usually set up the pick-up locations when we see who is
going and in which direction we will be traveling. We then alert our
travelers. In the past, we have picked up at various well-lighted parking
lots, including libraries, city lots, truck stops, etc.
For those of you who are at a distance from the group, arrangements will need to
be made, depending on the outing. Example: Tulsa travelers would
probably not want to drive to the Miami/Grove area to take part in a Tulsa trip. However, they would be picked-up in Tulsa, for
an Oklahoma City trip. Basically, we try to be as flexible as possible and
try to choose convenient locations.

Q. Day Trip
Question: If we are picked up half way there, do I get a discount?
-
A. Currently our day trip costs are
divided by the number of seats available, not the hours, or miles, trip participants are
actually taking advantage of those seats. Because of this, day trip
customers are all charged the same amount, no matter where they are picked up.

Q. Is my
trip insured?
-
A. None of these trips (unless
otherwise noted) are insured from the Gregath Publising Company. The
reasoning is that everyone expects different levels of service from insurance,
as well as the fact that our travels are rarely with a large group. One
online insurance clearinghouse online is http://insuremytrip.com/
(formerly Quotesmith)
