This transcription is of the Journal of the Wyandotte Legislative Committee which can be found on microfilm at the Archives and Manuscripts Division of the Oklahoma Historical Society, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Every effort has been made to make as exact a transcription as is possible.  As with all microfilmed and older documents, the hand may at times present difficulty in transcription.  With the desire to keep the transcription as correctly aligned to the journal as possible, no effort has been made to correct obvious misspellings, grammar, punctuation, etc. 

This particular journal of the committee covers a period from September 27, 1848 to October 25, 1856.
