Our Grade F Buckram is the strongest and best lasting of the hardcover material choices. It meets or exceeds all Library Binding Institute performance standards for this group of hard cover, as well as ANSI and NISO standards for library binding. One look at a well-used library shelf and you will see the proof that it truly stands the test of time. The basis of this material is poly cotton impregnated with a 100% aqueous acrylic coating which makes for a very durable book. Because of the basically waterproof finish, this binding can be wiped down for clean up resulting from spills and dirt resulting from heavy handling.
