Part time, secretarial and
design work, flexible scheduling. The more work your sales produce, the more
office work there will be. An excellent
opportunity for self-starters This offering consists of 2 components for same applicant: Office/per hour employment, on a flexible schedule, and as much sales as employee wishes to undertake. Minimum requirements: Applicant will have the equivalent to High School Typing I training, know the keyboard and have a willingness to learn (all additional training offered). Experience in Microsoft Windows 98/XP Operating System, Word, Works, Publisher, Outlook Express, Explorer, FrontPage, Adobe Acrobat (reader/writer), Paint Shop Pro, Print Artist, UPS Worldship, Family Tree Maker, Family Origins, knowledge of HTML, etc. helpful but not needed (training offered). Duties in office may include but not limited to (training offered): data entry (including transcription from microfilm/form/text), handling office calls/clients, copy/light book making work, conversion from printed book to electronic book format, graphic design, layout/manuscript preparation/redesign, order fulfillment, etc. Willingness to cross-train in printing production a definite plus! Staff taking advantage of the sale component will need to spend time learning what our printing facility does to familiarize themselves with the product. Sales personnel will get a percentage of all printing they bring in - no minimum or maximum time requirement or volume of sales involved. Salary: In-Office - Minimum wage to train, pay
increase based upon performance. Additional freelance typing/graphic design employment/income opportunities may also be available for some staff members.
Conscientious, dependable,
self-starters may be considered for full-time or expanded part-time positions.
