Camera Ready Manuscript Preparation
Prefer computer files to hard copy manuscript? We offer that service!

We offer a wide variety of manuscript preparation packages.

The most economical (money out of pocket) way to prepare a manuscript for you to do it yourself.  However, the saying "time is money" is not false.  Because of this, and the hesitation many authors feel at putting together a complete book product, we offer a variety of manuscript preparation packages.  From our standard package that offers a quick re-type and/or polish, to our deluxe conversion service, we try to offer the degree of support any author may need. In addition to indexing, we can prepare sections of manuscript or just a page or two if necessary. Manuscripts may be delivered in hard copy print out, or a variety of digital options.

The normal procedure for general manuscript preparation is as follows:

1. Material arrives with instructions and retainer at GCI

2. Instructions are followed to produce manuscript pages or sections

3. GCI produced material is sent to author for proof reading, correction, additions, etc. - generally in small batches, unless otherwise instructed (format varies)

4. Proofed material is then returned to us, in order that any changes can be made These annotated pages can be considered approved by the author.

5. If any errors were made at Gregath, these are corrected free of charge.

6. Should the author alter the work, GCI will make all authorized changes though there is an additional fee for rewriting.

7. Additional digital author return/approval may be made at this time for no additional charge, or further steps as deemed necessary by customer or publisher. (return to step 3 and repeat)

8. Finalized work and payment completed - material delivered in requested format, or used for publication.

Our Manuscript Preparation Division has the capability to work from different types of original material. Following are a few of the most popular methods and prices.

If any of the package prices can be done with a time only charge (at $20.00/hour), any savings will be automatically applied.
