This project was originated with the idea of being able to produce one volume a year. However, the publishing timetable for new history volumes is largely dependent on the people living in, and with ties to Ottawa County, Oklahoma. While the authors would love to take the time to research and produce historical narrative, data, and various material from "scratch", they have not found the time to do so. However, there is so much unpublished history in the County, that it could fill several thousand pages - if only it were related to go into this public format. Even if everyone in your family alive today knows the facts, there is no guarantee that anyone will remember it all the same way in 50 years. Preserve your history before it is gone! If you wish to commission your own books, Gregath Publishing Company would be happy to provide local services. However, an easy way to share Ottawa County, Oklahoma family information in book form, at no cost to you, is to participate in the ongoing Ottawa County Families project.
