Note: This CD-ROM program requires Adobe Acrobat; it is a PDF file.  I used Adobe Acrobat 5.0 with good results.

This book starts, as Dickens would say, at the beginning, with a chapter on setting realistic goals and establishing what you as an author want to achieve.  The other chapters follow right along with how to write your manuscript, preparation for printing, and marketing your book.  A chapter on "Etc." describes methods for records control and book keeping. Since the actual process of printing may be new to many readers, the descriptions of printing and binding are enlightening.  The writing is clear and explanations are basic; for someone who is delving into publishing for the first time, this book provides many useful tips.  The advantages of a book on CD-ROM are portability, storage, and the type sizing function.  By type sizing, I mean that if you, like me, read a lot and would like to give your eyes a rest by enlarging the text on the computer monitor, you can do it!

Publisher's Note: The CD (reviewed above) has the same content as the 1998 printed book and both include a certificate (for the purchase price) toward your Gregath publication.
