Royalty Publishing Program
geared toward genealogy and history
Royalty FAQ
We always suggest that you look
toward publishing your genealogy book yourself with professional help. It is
a vastly rewarding experience. However, if you have a genealogy or history
book you want to see in print but don't want to do yourself, we would love to be of service
to you as well as other genealogists that need your information. Our
royalty programs are a non-subsidy publishing effort that pays annual royalties
based on books sold.
Accepted traditional projects are published at
no cost to the Copyright holder and pay annual royalty of 15% of profit.
Accepted Smashwords projects pay 50% of purchase price annual royalty.
Extensive
book set-up or conversion for free Smashwords books are listed as manuscript services.

Typically, a book project scenario needs to be
suggested to us for review. We then decide if it is a project we can
undertake at the time the proposal packet arrives at GCI. If the project
is accepted, the author will send the completed contract with or ahead of the project.
Wish to submit
your genealogical
or history
book for consideration?
Always consider taking a more active roll
first, rather then turning over all your great work for someone else to take
care of. Compilation is only part of the complete author
experience!
Still want to submit?
Do not send unsolicited
book manuscripts/projects -
they will not be considered or returned.
Note: We take no responsibility for unsolicited book packages sent to our
offices.
