Our
company prides itself in offering trips that bridge the gap
between fully escorted sightseers and packages with an eye
for genealogical research. This trip is no different, it
includes staff that will be researching and sightseeing. With the LDS Family
History Center open 14½ hours a day, one may choose to base their time out of the
library rather than from their accommodations! For those who like to mix research
and fun - or even want a vacation from daily life as well as research, Salt Lake
City and the surrounding area offer a bunch of choices. In preparing
for the Olympics, Salt Lake City installed a light railway system that
supplements the in-town bus service for sightseers. Note that shuttle
service to and from the library daily is already included in the package. Travel to
Salt Lake City with an experienced group! It is up to each traveler to
decide to take advantage of Gregath staff scheduling, or strike off on their
own.

"What to
Wear": This shall, of course, be up to you based on your chosen
activities and venue. For any given day, if it's warm, many air conditioning systems do too good of a job
(Idea-sweater), while others may be barely adequate (Idea-hand
fan); if cool,
heaters may run "hot" and "cold" as well. Additionally, clothing
that may be best for sightseeing, may not be the standard fair at
research repositories or Temple Square.
If planning on attending
any service or tabernacle performance, don't forget to cover both
knees and shoulders. Women may also want to add a
hat.
We recommend that if have any concerns
about changes in your schedule, you obtain your choice of travel insurance from
an independent carrier.
