DC Tour Circa 1995

DC research in the Library of Congress, National Archives, NSDAR Library and more. With an eye to economy, we will be staying in an outlying area - travelers may take the bus for transport, or strike out on their own in DC. Take side trips to places like Mount Vernon and/or take advantage of the Metro for trips on your own to the zoo and Alexandria (more research)!

FYI - FCIC Washington DC Info

DC Metro

"What to Wear":  This shall, of course, be up to you based on your chosen activities and venues.  While travelers may realize temperature control to please everyone in a bus-sized group is not possible - we need to remember this when packing. Many air conditioning systems do too good of a job (Idea-sweater), and heaters may also "over achieve" for your comfort zone (Idea-hand fan)

  • your deposit can be applied to different trip(s) or merchandise offered through us

Due to the slightly more fluid nature of travel after 9/11, we recommend that if worried about further changes, you obtain your choice of trip insurance from an independent carrier.
