Should you prefer, we can easily prepare a manuscript for you through a number of methods. We can work from your rough draft or raw research, if you place your materials in the order in which you wish them to appear in the book.
Manuscript preparation fees
can vary, depending on the condition of the material
submitted and the desires of the client. The major
portion of submitted material is adequate to work from,
however, occasionally we do get things that require extra
time to read and process. These can include such things
as faint pencil, faded copies, poor handwriting, audio recordings, or
smeared copy. It then becomes necessary to adjust fees
accordingly, and the author is contacted. The majority of
our manuscript preparation clients select word
processing; utilizing laser print,
because of the benefits and savings. Preparation for an electronic book
can be much the same and general costs can be found using standard
package pricing. Basic packages are prepared in 1
font only, more expensive packages include different fonts, formats,
various types and sizes of clip art, etc.
The normal procedure for printed manuscript preparation is to send copies of each page to the author for proof reading, correction, additions, etc. The proofed copies are then returned to us, in order that these changes can be made. These pages would be considered approved by the author and the final camera-ready copy prepared. There is an additional fee for rewriting, should the author alter the processed work.

If the book will contain photographs, we can consult on our free, basic refurbishment work for photographs. If photos intended for use in the manuscript are beyond our free services, we can also quote on custom/extensive restoration/refurbishment work.
