Biography

Carrie Cook is the fourth generation directly involved in The Gregath Publishing Company. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education as well as several state's teaching credentials.  She is a published author - illustrator and photographer, concentrating on genealogical and historical topics. Serving as The Gregath Publishing  Company's Vice President, she conducts genealogical tours, serves as the webmaster, and speaks on staff.  Additionally, she teaches Genealogy, Writing and Computer/Internet use at NTC.  She also owns Carrie's Corner, which offers web design, gift baskets and used books of all types including small genealogy and writing aids sections.

Holding membership in various lineal organizations, Carrie is active in many different projects.  From Native American Scholarships to Flag Etiquette, her involvement in different organizations is varied.  Her personal interests tend toward the historical as well.  From participating as a woman’s cloth dancer at local pow-wows to historical travel begins to illustrate her interest in different cultures and how they evolve.  Several of her ongoing book projects center on, in addition to family history, preservation and rediscovery of historical events and places.
