Basic Grove Map
Those familiar with the Grove area may note that the Grove Civic Center
is Grove's original Wal-Mart building that sits diagonally from the new
Super Center. Enter the parking lot from 18th Street. The only admittance
door into the civic center for this seminar is to be the main entrance
facing main street.
Grove is
currently in the midst of major road construction on Main Street - the
road that the Civic Center Faces. The first set of directions
below assume the attendees wish the most direct route to the venue, even
if they have to contend with construction. Those that wish to
avoid as much road construction as much as possible, should take the
Alternate Traffic
Flow Suggestions.

software or mapping website such as Mapquest
for directions to Grove, Oklahoma, or

For those approaching Grove
from
the South (Jay/Muskogee/Tahlequah) Highway 10 and 59/Main Street - proceed
north into town
over honey creek bridge. Proceed to the 2nd stop light (18th) and
turn left/west. Having turned left/west, take the first right -driveway
into the Civic Center parking lot. Do not plan to take State Park
Road instead - it will be closed to traffic this date.
For those approaching Grove
from
the East
(Miami/Joplin/Neosho/Wyandotte/Elk River) Highway 10/Third Street - proceed
into town to second stop light (Main) and turn left. Continue down
Main to the Civic Center on the right side of the street. You can
turn into the parking lot directly off of Main, or turn right at the
18th street stop light and take the first right - driveway into the
Civic Center parking lot. Alternate

For those approaching Grove
from
the West (Vinita/Buffalo
Ranch/Will Rogers Turnpike/Fairland/Miami) Highway 59/Third Street -
proceed into town to second stop light (Main) and turn right.
Continue down Main to the Civic Center on the right side of the street.
You can turn into the parking lot directly off of Main, or turn right at
the 18th street stop light and take the first right - driveway into the
Civic Center parking lot. Alternate

Alternate Traffic Flow Suggestions
For those approaching Grove
from
the South (Jay/Muskogee/Tahlequah) Highway 10/59 - Previously
suggested to take state park road. State park road will be closed
Saturday, October 16.
For those approaching Grove
from
the East
(Joplin/Neosho/Wyandotte/Elk River) Highway 10/Third Street -
proceed into the edge of town and turn left/south on Veterans (at REC
sign). Go to first cross street and turn right/west. Follow
this street through the first stop sign and take the first left/south
after the hospital. Proceed to the first right/west which is 18th
street. Once on 18th, proceed through stop light (main) and take
driveway into the Civic Center parking lot.
OR -
proceed
into town two blocks after second stop light to Broadway (Grand Lake
Bank on left/Subway on right) and turn left/west. Proceed several
blocks to a stop light on 18th - the Best Western will on the far left.
At that light turn left/east and then take driveway
into the Civic Center parking lot.
For those approaching Grove
from
the West (Buffalo
Ranch/Will Rogers Turnpike/Fairland) Highway 59/Third Street -
proceed into town to first stop light (Leisure Lane) and turn right.
Continue down Leisure Lane to Har-Ber Road. At Har-Ber Road, turn
left and follow to Broadway. Turn left/north onto Broadway.
Proceed several blocks to first stop light (18th) - the Best Western
will on the right. At that light turn right/east and then
take driveway
into the Civic Center parking lot.
