On Your Own -
Sightseeing
By selecting Grove, Oklahoma as the site for our 2009
Genealogy and Writing Retreat on the lake, attendees can stick with the
genealogical
lectures, attend the writing lectures, take the time to lock yourself away for
personal writing, organizing, or "me time", or even strike out on your own
- at any
time. Too many good lectures to miss? Come early or stay late - the Grand Lake
area have lots to offer. Use the retreat as a base for a full-blown vacation or
research trip.
Unless you are a dyed-in-the-wool adventurer, consult your favorite Atlas, AAA,
software or mapping website such as Mapquest
for directions to your destination.
