This year attendees will be enjoying all the comforts of home - while being able to avail themselves of a great gaming resort. Educational sessions will all deal with being an effective genealogist in the 21st century. While our speakers have spoken on some of these topics at various places in the past, all presentations will be updated for this group.

While we don't have full kitchen privileges, like in the past, we will have full maid service in this newer resort hotel and very nice meeting room space - well away from the gaming floor. Bring all the electronic goodies you wish, just be courteous to others about using them. This retreat is perfect for the basic beginner, as well as the "grizzled veteran" who is looking for new tips and tricks, or just a positive attitude adjustment. Immerse yourself in a great atmosphere, with genealogists and historian of all skill levels and amounts of experience.

Spend some time away from the everyday trials and tribulations! Come out for a weekend of genealogy and family history lectures, learning and sharing. Scheduling calls for lots different session times. 

Leave the pesky cell phones and electronic devices at home, in the office, in your room, or set to silent and relax into this low stress learning environment away from your "to do" list at home. Wireless internet access is included in your package and available in your hotel room, as well as the meeting and lounge areas. Feel free to turn off your internet connection and "unplug", if that is your preference. Full retreat attendees arrive Saturday for a full day of sessions, meals and fun. Sunday, attendees have breakfast and the option of two additional sessions before getting on with their day.
