Is your book a handy size? One that has the reader in mind, and thus, is not several hundred pages long? This binding option combines Library Binding Institute recognized durability as a lower cost alternative to ALA Oversewing in books that don't "have a weight problem". Books with a spine up to 3/8" don't always need an Oversewn spine to last generations. A book of this size can have up to approximately 250 pages, depending on the thickness of paper utilized. The small weight of the book means that only readers will cause wear. The book itself will not be damaged during storage, as long as basic cautions are used - such as a flat, relatively dry surface.

Don't discount "hand selling" books through online services. Do you eBay, or use other auction sites? Don't want to "risk" listing fees? Monitor sites you use for specials. Have sales information ready for those "free" times to take advantage. Even if a copy doesn't sale ASAP, it may get further out into the traffic stream and you may pick up sales down the road.

Most computers are online now. Have you taken advantage of your software's free online services? Examples include PowerPoint slide deck templates; special "document" templates such a calendars, invoices, etc.; fonts and clipart. Copyrights may apply, so if you are producing anything for profit, be aware of limitations.
