Page Number: Whether numbered to the eye, or "unnumbered", each page carries it's own number designation. Unnumbered pages may exist out of the normal numbering scheme (12A, 12B, etc.), but still must be identified in some way. A book that is numbered 144, 145, 147 should have a blank 146 and still may need corrected.

Page Number (Electronic Manuscript): Number of page from the beginning of the manuscript. this file page number, not manuscript page number. i.e. the last page of the book is numbered 100, but there is a frontice piece and 8 alternately numbered pages making the last electronic manuscript page number 110.

Consider offering true print on demand (POD) hard copy editions to complement all electronic editions you may publish. Produce a manuscript suitable for production, on the page size of your choice, choose your binding preference(s), and keep a current quotation for single books. Offer POD for all electronic editions based on your cost.

To offset the flat set-up fee is might be budgeted as promotion expense, seek a patron to pay for it (underwrite or sponsor), or offer "set up rebate incentive" based on the number of orders on a given date: The more books ordered by a certain date, the bigger the rebate returned with their book.

Did you know that any file you currently use (and reuse) in an Microsoft Office program may potentially be saved as a template? Choose File, Save As, then click the down button to the right of the 2nd pull down menu (file type) in the dialog box that popped up; click template (Word Template, Excel Template, etc.) then set your file name and save. Many create a dedicated file area for high use templates.
