*Sell Sheet (marketing): Typically non-folded, printed one side including information about the book and a drawing/photo of the cover of the book.

Serif Type: See Font - Finishing strokes (usually horizontal) at the ends of letters. Examples: times new roman, Alaska, etc. Considered easiest to read as the serifs draw the eye along during reading.

When choosing eBook online design, or disc and mailing packaging, decide if you want everything to match - or to what extent. It can be just graphics, include color palettes, etc.

If choosing to market Print On Demand, never forget the production time. Even if a book takes 3 months to publish, people interested in the content should not be disappointed if you are up front about the time limits of your POD.

Consider offering a special first edition. This could include a discount, different cover/packaging, additional pages or features, color versus black and white in subsequent publishing's, numbered, etc.

Consider using features of your software to aid in your journey such as: Play/stream music, alter your desktop themes, consider inexpensive add-ons such as an ergonomic keyboard, or more expensive such as good dictation software.
