Have you ever considered that being proactive about your genealogy work, and what you have found, can lead to breakthroughs? If you hide your light under a basket, other family members that may share your interest, no one will know about what you are working on, or what you have found. Likewise, even folks that are not into family history may help you brainstorm where to look next - sometimes it just takes a fresh pair of eyes and a different life outlook.
