Economy Note: While there is always interest in researching in Springfield, please contact us ASAP if you are interested in going on this particular trip. With the economy what it is, we will not fully form this trip - i.e. set prices - unless we have enough people who are interested, with the budget to consider this trip.

Computer terminals with access to many databases only available to library card holders from home terminals - one hour daily limit (2 hours eligible for the trip).

Travelers may take advantage of "limited food service" or enjoy a "sack lunch" of their own preparation right in the library at the snack table area. Upon request, the van will make a lunch trip (out and back) for more lunch choices. The van will also make a dinner stops, snack runs, etc. If breakfast isn't served at the hotel, stops will also be made for this.
Note: The Independence library has special area set aside for snacking. Food and drink are welcome in this area. Because of this, many researchers - especially in the heat - arrive in the morning and don't leave the air conditioned comfort of the facility until it is time to go to evening meal and/or lodging.
