Antoinette Gillespie
General Computer Labs

An NTC Computer Teacher, Antoinette resides with her daughter in Miami, Oklahoma after moving from South Carolina several years ago.  She holds college bachelors degrees in nursing, criminal justice and business.  Her work with computers began as a personal interest and she now shares her knowledge as an evening instructor at the Afton campus.

Her NTC classes (introduction to computers and internet & email) focus on students that are older people who want to learn to use their computer for fun, entertainment, and to keep in contact with family and friends far away.  Gillespie began teaching one class and her students requested others, thus her growing roster of evening classes.  As an instructor she cover the material  outlined in the classes with humor and the ultimate goal of learning skills the best possible way for those involved. Additionally, she has recently begun private instruction by appointment.

"I have come to a point in my life where I feel that 'if it isn't fun, I won't do it' and I teach  with that attitude and try to impress on my students the same thing. They should have FUN with their computers, not be stressed by them."
